This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies ClearSiteScore uses, why we use them, and how you can change your choice at any time.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small data file stored by your browser. We also use browser storage (localStorage, sessionStorage), which works similarly. In this policy "cookie" covers both.
2. Strictly necessary cookies
The service cannot work without these, so they are used without consent on the basis of legitimate interest.

These cookies are only set if you accept them in the cookie banner. If you decline, every feature still works; only measurement and referral attribution are skipped — the Google Analytics and Meta Pixel scripts are not even loaded.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) or Do Not Track signal, we do not use these cookies even if you accepted earlier.
4. Changing your choice
- You can decide again at any time: the "Cookie settings" link in the footer reopens the choice.
- You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies breaks sign-in and payment.
- If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) or Do Not Track signal, non-essential cookies stay off automatically.
