How we measure
The audit is built on real network measurements, not on reading text. The engine talks directly to the website's server: it inspects response headers, encryption settings and response times, then opens the page in a browser engine as a separate step, so it also sees the content a visitor actually receives. That is how we detect when a site presents itself differently to search engines and AI systems than it does to people.
We sample sub-pages and — for online stores — product pages, so findings are never based on a single page. Speed is not guessed: we use official, public measurement data, and where real visitor experience data is available we prefer it over lab results. AI-crawler access is verified with real requests sent under the crawlers' own identifiers, which reveals when a server or firewall is blocking exactly those.
The engine is rule-based and does not speculate: the same site in the same state produces the same result. When a protection system, maintenance mode or broken response makes a measurement impossible, we say so openly and issue no score. The engine keeps growing: every newly encountered server behaviour is built in, and automated tests protect the accuracy already achieved.
Our principles
- Every finding is backed by concrete evidence, shown in the report.
- Anything we could not measure is marked as “not measured”, never as a defect.
- Lab data (the measured value) and business conclusions are kept separate.
- We never recommend a fix for something that already passes.
- We promise no rankings, traffic or AI citations: we show what is measurable and what you can do about it.
- The audit only touches the publicly available website: we need no access and change nothing on your site.
